National Glass are currently looking for Glass Process Workers to support our increased volume at our Townsville factory.  

Day shifts are available on a casual and permanent basis.  Casual positions can lead to permanent full time employment after a successful 6 month probationary period and there is room to grow into leadership positions.

Opportunities exist from warehousing duties to cutting and processing glass using hand tools, automatic cutting machines and glass toughening furnaces.  Working in a friendly and supportive environment, reporting to a Team Coordinator, you will work across a variety of equipment to meet production targets. 

You will be provided with properly structured and regulated onsite training, including but not limited to the following tasks:

• Laminating - rolling of glass off table
• Spot-sticking and writing on glass
• Breaking out of glass on cutting tables
• Unloading glass
• Racking glass
• Quality checking
• Assisting loaders with orders for trucks
• Assisting in warehousing duties 
• General housekeeping maintenance of the work space
